 Vidyasagar is undoubtedly a man of melody and is one of the very few music directors, who actually know how to strike a balance between mass and class listeners. A man of genuine talent, he has proved his mettle coming up with catchy numbers in the past. Vidyasagar has several hits under his belt and this time he has come out with a soft score for the film ‘Raman Thediya Seethai’. The album has six numbers with the likes of Binny, Thippu, Madhu Balakrishnan, Karthik among others rendering their voices. Vidyasagar has himself crooned a number which is quite striking. Director Jagannath seems to possess good taste. He seems to have given enough liberties to his music composer in order to come out with melodious scores. Especially the numbers ‘Ippavae’ and ‘Vanathai Vittu’ deserve applause. Listen to ‘Raman Thediya Seethai’ and you are sure to feel fresh. The songs are like the first rain on barren land.
